Last Day of Adventure

We're spending this last day of 2015, the last day of this hard, good, adventurous year, climbing outside. It's only appropriate, since I chose "adventure" as my 2015 One Little Word. We'll #optoutside in the last daylight hours of this calendar year.We traveled back yesterday - a wonderfully smooth 12 hours door to door NY > LA. I'm glad we were home for the holidays and spent so much time with family. Now I'm ready to settle in to a few days at our apartment in Los Angeles, soaking up that post-Christmas glow of pajamas and brunching and new gifts and the wrap around of the end of the year and the start of the new.2015, you were a major bitch in some ways, but there was so much good in you. Mostly, I'm just glad I made it through (with battle scars and new knowledge) and that the people I love most are still with me, as happy and healthy as we all can be.May you close out your 2015 in the best way possible, and open yourself up to the new xo*The photo above is from our trip to Tahoe - can't believe it's already been 6 months since that beautiful day.
