50 States in Austin

Due to life being full of lovely coincidences, Katie and I ended up in Austin at the same time. I was visiting with friends. She was 2 months into her 50 States In A Year project. Her and her friend Sam are on a year long fundraising tour, partnering with Crossfit Boxes and SweatAngels, while visiting every state in the country.We got to catch up over lunch, trade some stories and just laugh about how it is we've gone from being roommates in Boston 8 years ago, to both living in LA, to meeting up again in Austin. Not to mention, how rad it is that she's embarked on this project and kicking some major CrossFit & fundraising butt, all while driving an RV!This month, SweatAngels is raising money for rescue animals, a cause very near and dear to my heart (Carter Cash is a rescue and pretty much the best dog ever).
