Sherman's Maine Books

Just a quick throwback to our visit to Acadia - longer posts on this trip coming up.On our last day, we packed up camp, went into Bar Harbor for coffee and a walk around town.CoffeeHound was delicious and the service was so good. Highly recommend.Then, we popped into Sherman's Maine Books in Bar Harbor, Maine. Lately, when I'm traveling, I make a point to visit any bookstore that's on my path, especially any that look old and ingrained in the local culture. And let's be honest, and coffee + bookstore + wandering makes my heart happy.My obsession with Maine was strengthened by this trip, so it took a bit of restraint to not buy a bunch of regional authors or books about Acadia and Maine living. We ended up buying a gift for my brother-in-law (he has to wait till Christmas for it haha) and heading home.Maine, you were lovely. More to come.
