This past week was our second stay-cationing in Manhattan Beach. We returned home last night, after taking Carter for a walk on the Strand one last time, stopping at Starbucks for grande iced dirty chais, and letting the sun burn our shoulders some more. Boy, have I been feeling that full moon energy - I think we all have. For the love of LA

Both my friend and my dad shared this with me this week - aerial perspectives of famous neighborhoods. At the top is photos of the Park La Brea housing complex, the first place I lived when I moved to LA and where my office used to be. Then there are the photos of LA's most famous streets when they were dirt roads.  True Detective S1, Ep6 explained. Looking forward to Fear The Walking Dead, a parallel show to The Walking Dead, set in LA. And to top it all off, I started The Big Sleep.

Swinging Swift

I've had the pleasure of meeting Aubrey Logan because she's an alum in the community I manage for work. Also, she's one of the only artists who H and I willingly leave the house for on a weeknight.
