This Grateful Season - Rainy Brunch Fun

This morning we had brunch with an amazing alumni couple. I basically fell in love. Today was the first day we met and it was instant awesome. We bonded over wedding craziness, new job talk, whiskey, and beer. She has fabulously curly hair, bright eyes and is full of light. He has a tattoo on his left arm and grew up near where my fiance went to college in PA. Their enthusiasm was infectious. It felt as if we'd found a doppelganger couple - about 8 months ahead of us. They were married in October and just moved into a rental house. We're getting married in July and fiance is always house hunting. They invited us to a party their having on Friday. I hope we can go.Today's other feat was brining a 8lb turkey breast which is resting, tripled bagged, on the bottom shelf of the fridge. Hoping it is correct and I haven't ruined Thanksgiving dinner before the week's even begun. And who wasn't grateful for the rain - running to the car through flooded streets, our blood pumping full of warming alcohol, our jeans soaked through and clinging to our legs. Boots full of water. The inside of the car a safe haven, the rain pelting the roof.~~~

**For the month of November, I’m posting something each day that I’m grateful for. It may be as long as an intricate post, as short as a quote, as simple as a link or as wordless as a photograph. A
