Style Coming Into Focus

PL_summer1PL_summerclose1PL_summerclose2PL_summerclose3PL_summer2PL_summerclose4PL_summerclose7PL_summerclose8I don't scrapbook often, but when I do...LOVE LOVE LOVEThe top page is one of my most favorites I've ever created. The second one is pretty in pink. I feel like, out of nowhere, my style came into focus while making these pages. I tend to love projects when I first create them with the enthusiasm wearing off. We'll see if the euphoria lasts, but I'm hoping it does. Here's what I love:- Lots of photos- Whimsical cards- Happy sayings that add to the story- Repetition in photos- Those clear letter stickers, especially in beach-living themeBeing slammed with work makes me crave creative projects. There's just something about printing photos, touching paper, putting together colors and taping it all down. Not to mention the experience of revisiting my stay-cation week memories.I haven't done any pages for 2015, but these spreads coming together during last week's full moon Friday night inspired me to pop around this year's memories and pull some things together. This weekend, I'm working on a few pages for our Austin trip.Have a good one xo---Read my other project life tagged entries. This project is using Project Life - a super easy memory keeping process of slipping printed photos and designed cards into pockets. Here I'm using the Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party mini kit (physical product was hard to find online, so linking to the digital files), a few 6x6 papers from Amy Tangerine's Sketchbook, and the clear Simple Stories stickers from the DIY collection (I'm obsessed).
